So as we all know, Instagram generally sucks and is NOT what photographers are looking for in a photographic app. Wait...what IS a photographic app? Why is that a thing that we use? We actually have cameras! Nice cameras!
Believe me, upon the birth of Instagram I was ferociously against the whole thing. You know, pretentious and elitist about "real" cameras and "real" photography. But as time has rolled forward (still devising a plan to halt that process) I've absolutely jumped on the Insta bandwagon. Lets be honest: it's fun, it's quick, it's playful, and no one is taking you seriously anyway, so why not enjoy the fancy tricks your smart phone has up its teeny tiny sleeves?
